SAG-KP Program: SAG-KP Convergence Program was launched with the aim to overall empowerment of adolescent girls between 11 to 18 years (school going and out of school). It enables self development and empowerment of adolescent girls and Improve their nutrition and health status.

Child Protection & Awareness: 14 students of the Psychology Department of the Gayatri Chetna Foundation in collaboration with SWS, under observation of two faculty, conducted a session in two govt schools & with local coaching centers covering 650 girl children in Hingalganj, North 24 parganas on 16th & 17th November 2023.
Empowering Girls in Hingalganj: A Multi-Faceted Approach
The SAG-KP Convergence Program tackles challenges faced by adolescent girls (11-18) in Hingalganj. It promotes self-development, nutrition, and health while addressing social issues. School counselor Shabari Sarkar leads regular counseling sessions on topics like self-esteem, child marriage, and education. Additionally, a psychology department collaboration with SWS reached 650 girls in schools and coaching centers, covering menstrual hygiene, child protection, and emotional well-being. This combined effort empowers girls and equips them to navigate life’s complexities.
Regular counselling Program: Shabari Sarkar, school counselor, conducts sessions at regular intervals with children & parents, including individual and group sessions, in the main school & other branches that help navigate life’s challenges more effectively and thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
