Swapnopuron's Inspiring Journey
Empowering Sundarbans, One Step at a Time
The Beginning
Founded by Ms. Satarupa Majumder, Swapnopuron began with just 25 students in Hingalganj, aiming to provide quality CBSE English education to remote Sundarbans children.
Growing Roots
Expanded to multiple branches with 300+ students. Started vocational training and awareness programs to fight early marriage and trafficking.
Making an Impact
Partnered with give.do and introduced yoga, drama & STEM. Over 500 students joined national-level events.
Overcoming Challenges
After Cyclone Amphan, Yaas, and COVID lockdowns, the team rebuilt and distributed digital devices to keep 700+ kids learning.
Scaling Heights
850 students, 7 branches, and Kalitala’s first eco-school were built. Added a STEM library and started projects on mangrove conservation and pisciculture.
Towards 50 Centers
Next vision: 50 centers, 1000+ empowered students, and expanding sustainable education across Sundarbans.
